Position Summary

This position serves as the coordinator for licensure & regulatory services including preparing licensure applications, renewals, and other compliance-related documents, and leasing support. This position is also responsible for coordinating and assisting in the preparation of contracts & agreements including MOU’s, MOA’s and course-related contract templates related to delivery of education and/or related activities outside of Mount Pleasant. In addition, this position is responsible for the development and maintenance of computer-based spreadsheets critical to the preparation of the required reporting documents. This position requires strong computer/technology skills, familiarity with legal terminology, accuracy, organization, resourcefulness, attention to detail, confidentiality and must be able to work independently and multitask.

Required Qualifications


Associate’s degree, preferably in a business related field, or equivalent work experience; or six (6) years’ work experience with (2) years directly related experience in compliance, contractual, or regulatory responsibilities.
Demonstrated success in coordinating special projects under limited supervision. Demonstrated ability to create and manipulate databases.
Demonstrated ability to use email and on-line system applications.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Strong presentation and organizational skills.
Demonstrated ability to work successfully in a team environment.
Must present a positive, professional, and credible image.
Ability to perform the essential functions of the job.

Preferred Qualifications


Demonstrated experience with, and knowledge of, a non-traditional, higher education environment.
Knowledge of specific software and/or mainframe/systems skills including Excel, Access, Visio, SIS, SAP, FRS, and Document Imaging.

Duties & Responsibilities


Assists in the coordination of research and collection of data necessary to complete licensure application, renewal, and other compliance-related documents.
Assists working with key stakeholders to facilitate compliance and completion of requirements pursuant to each state’s requirements.
Coordinates preparation of monthly, quarterly, annual and bi-annual reports as required for compliance with state and foreign licensure requirements.
Assists with coordinating and conducting training for relevant staff and academic partners regarding licensure requirements.
Creates spreadsheets and databases utilized to track relevant information required to prepare licensure renewal reports. Coordinates procurement & renewal of bonds as required by each state.
Assists with certification/credentialing matters with the academic departments and submits appropriate approval paperwork, as needed.
Assists in the preparation of reports regarding status of off-campus sites as required by the University accreditation body, the US Department of
Education, and states’ state authorization and related regulations.
Assists in the coordination of Lease Agreements for appropriate review and signature.
Coordinates Facility Use Agreements for appropriate review and signature.
Assists in the coordination of securing Certificates of Insurance.
Coordinates MOU’s/MOA’s and other documents for appropriate review and signature.
Serves as first line of review to proofread accuracy of information and provide appropriate and accurate summaries. Prepares appropriate background materials for work by professional staff.
Serves as the off-campus/online Student Disability Services Liaison.
Assists with Faculty Recruiting and Approval issues/projects, as needed.
Assists with Staff Resources issues/projects, as needed.
Handles special projects and assignments as directed.
Performs other duties as assigned.
